Kingston Upon Thames has a really amazing history and a unique characteristic that no other area in the UK has. The town was the very first royal Borough and several kings were crowned here in the tenth century. Community support for Hanworth Park House restoration
Hanworth Park House is a Grade II listed property that dates back to 1798 and has a huge wealth of history. It was originally built to replace a royal hunting lodge formerly owned by Henry VIII that was destroyed by fire in 1797. Construction on it began in 1798 and was completed in 1802. This time they asked 17,000 people for their opinions on 12 key factors. Honor Oak in the London Borough of Lewisham is proving to be very popular with commuters who work in the City and Canary Wharf. From the inner suburban area they can reach London Bridge via the Overground in 15 to 20 minutes.
