Wapping is a very stable area filled with character and charm

Wapping was one of the very first locations in London to become the focus of intense regeneration. In the 80s developers began buying old warehouses and converting them into homes, creating riverside lofts with fantastic views. The work helped to retain the character of many of the properties whilst also putting them to new use. As a result the area became very popular and prices rose dramatically. Continue reading

Regenerating Canning Town in Newham

Canning Town in the London Borough of Newham is the focus of a huge £3.7 billion regeneration. This is a sign of the wave of investment and development heading eastward from the centre of the city. As part of the project two new town centres are being created in the area, one on each side of the A13. In total around 10,000 new homes will be created too. Continue reading

Collier’s Wood in Merton has many attractions

Collier’s Wood is a fantastic, mostly residential area in the London Borough of Merton. It was previously woodland but was cleared in the 19th century, allowing development. The area is still very green though, particularly with Wandle Park, Wandle Meadow Nature Park, and Collier’s Wood Recreational Ground. The green spaces are highly appreciated amongst residents, particularly dog walkers. Continue reading

Hayes could be one of the hottest areas for property investement in Hillingdon in 2017

Hayes is a town in Hillingdon with a lot of history and could become one of the biggest property hotspots in 2017. The area is situated in an affordable area of North West London but currently has a relative lack of transport links to other parts of the capital. This will be resolved in 2018 when Crossrail arrives. Once the town is connected to the new Elizabeth Line there will be 10 trains to Central and Eastern London every hour. Continue reading
