The new faster route to the centre of the city helped businesses to grow and attracted people looking for larger homes with more space. Canning Town in the London Borough of Newham is the focus of a huge £3.7 billion regeneration. This is a sign of the wave of investment and development heading eastward from the centre of the city. Collier’s Wood in Merton has many attractions
Collier’s Wood is a fantastic, mostly residential area in the London Borough of Merton. It was previously woodland but was cleared in the 19th century, allowing development.
